Description Well, it was only a matter of time until I got into this ACEO thing! It was actually a lot of fun. Challenging but fun. Definitely going to do more.

2,5x3,5", watercolor, ink & color pencils. Original sold, prints available.

This is absolutely beautiful! Great job! By the way, may I ask what ACEO is? I'm Japanese, but I don't know about it. I guess the source of the painting has to do with Japan.

Thank you so much for the kind comments. Yes, a lot of my work (if not most) is inspired by the Far East, in particular Japan. The inspiration for the background here was the 19th century print by Kuniyoshi: [link]

To answer your question, ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. They're basically miniature art trading cards that can be either prints or originals. They're 2,5" by 3,5" in size.

Thank you Daniela! All it takes is the right tools, actually. I used a REALLY small brush (size 0) and super fine point liner pen (0.05 mm).

I'm very impressed nevertheless I already draw very small, but I don't think I could do this with colours.
