I remember seeing this version of Morpheus in the Sandman: Fables and Reflections story "August", set in ancient Rome, where Morpheus helps Emperor Augustus with a problem. Quite an interesting story, that, highly recommended.Β

Simply amazing, I love the fire and the liquid surrealistic convergence on the bottom of the clothes.

I try to always give a fair criticism, you know no gushing, coddling or flaming people. But this one is mate is really awesome, flawless. Only want to see more of your work now. Gaiman, Keith, Dringenberg's creation of Sandman and the Endless was absolute genius, and Mckean's covers what needs to be said really? Very heady stuff that never dissapointed. Your Sandman here is terrific, really nice work, great robe and helm, very Micheal Zulli, which in my world is top drawer.
