Verithin colored pencil on vellum, This is my "ink" based on a drawing by DA member Jaguaro, it was an interesting composition I thought so with his permission, I took a stab at inking the drawing. Time permitting, I may color it sometime.Related content

Well, Fred did experiment in college. And he's still on the fence from what I hear. Daphne may be but a 'beard' for him. Which is fine with her, as she doesn't want to be touched anyway. So many layers to these seemingly simply cartoons! Like an onion, layer, after layer, after layer!

I have MY original hanging next to my computer desk. When i look ovwer at it, I always see Velma holding that hotdog and have to chuckle at my missinterpretation of it. Freud would tell me I drew this unconciously because I have a THING for Velma. But I drew it because I thought she was holding a hotdog....and I have a thing for Velma.

I just talked to Jaguaro, the DA member who did the original sketch that this drawing is based upon. I learned that what I THOUGHT was a pickle or hotdog that Velma is holding, was actually supposed to be one of her FINGERS! So, if anyone is wondering about the HOTDOG, THAT is the reason. Perhaps some clever fan-fic writer can come up with a story about this drawing and effectively explain just why Velma is holding a hotdog/pickle/water wienie/pepperoni.
