Wonder what the importance of it is?I've had this internal debate for a long time now. I have a deep love and respect for digital painting (as opposed to digital air brushing), because I love brush strokes so much. Even though airbrushing always comes out so smooth and beautiful, it just feels like cheating. But you never know how you like it until you try it, right?
So this is me trying it. Hope it turned out ok. I experimented with lighting a little.

That is really beautiful. I especially love the strap of her dress! How did you do that tiny detail? Did you just use a tiny brush? Really great job on this whole piece!

Thanks! I just used brushes that looked like a decent texture, then took a fine point white one for the shinies. I'm so glad you like it.
