Description
This was, mostly, a practice piece to see how much patience I had for detailing just a face. It kind of turned into a mehndi party, but I was quite OK with it even before going all wonkers with that.Related content

Ooh, love that tattoo! Although mehndi is redder, so this looks more like a normal tattoo, or maybe some kind of arcane pattern.
I love even more that you did it in PSP.

It's a lovely picture. You must have great patience to do all that detailing. I think it was worth it though.

With tattoos, in general, I always work with them on separate layers and always bring the layer transparency down to blend it with the underlying skin. The brightest skin highlights are painted on a layer on top of the design, as well. So long as the skin texture shows through and the highlights apply equally over the design...should be good to go

Okay, so I say this every time you post but this is the best thing you have ever done. This rocks! I know you like doing the full human form but you should think about this style more. If I'm really really nice could I get a high rez version?

I don't use PhotoShop, so I'm not entirely sure what you're asking.
I do have a lot of custom brushes and materials, certainly, if that's what you mean.

I use Paint Shop Pro. It's really similar but the names for things are all different...so I tend to end up saying: I don't speak PS
