Oh hay id have to agree on your note, The hair really is starting to stand out and. I can see it isnt the most clearest image but its works as it runs throught the entire image. You indeed deserve a sticker for this. 
Its good to see you are developing your own way of using the brush.
Somehow makes me feel not to make a tutorial so users can develope their own style with it.

It loses some of the clarity when I do my post processing
You should still do a tute, Its always good to see another method and people always make their own style in the end anyway.

Yup, but I love this.
Ive played with the hair and the background for a couple of days, and half a day juts doing postwork and colours. But i got what I wanted in the end
