'Palitium first encounters the shadow in Valaçois when they learn of his necromatic activity deep beneath the city's sewers.after clearing out his strange, alien beasts, they are unable to locate and confront the animator. Afterwards, Palitium stalks them from the shadows to gauge the strength of these new found obstacles; his focus settling on Naix as he senses something malevolent beneath his naive and good natured demeanor.'
