Following the trend of cosplaying from series we fansub ourselves, this year's Barcelona Manga Con wasn't an exception. And even if GC turned out to be a bit of a letdown in some places, both my boyfriend and I liked it, specially the finale and the character of Gai Tsutsugami. My boyfriend seems to have a thing for characters voiced by Yuuichi Nakamura (CLANNAD's Tomoya, OreImo's Kyousuke, and I just know he'll end up cosplaying Hyouka's Houtarou as well XD), so he pretty much liked him from the beginning, but it was the determination, coolness and ability to keep fighting even if that meant to be hated by those he loved that made him cosplay him.

He always wants to be original, so he choose his white outfit from the series finale. I won't go into details to avoid spoilers as much as I can XD But he worked hard on this since all patterns were heavily modified, or, in the case of the "last layer" (the "poncho", as we call it XD), made from scratch. Wig was styled by myself, and I also made his face prosthetics from polyester resin.
