Pearl Sky: I am from Nowhere. It is a mountain somewhere far eastward. If you are wondering about my species, I am a peryton, specifically a hybrid of a Peregrine Falcon and a Reindeer. I do not know about your species either, so I am curious.

"Hee hee. I am from tallest mountain in the east too! Not many can reach my village because it is too high up on mountain. Those not adapted would have to wear special gear if they wish to visit."

Swatt: “(IS THAT AN ACTUAL DRAGON?? How am I supposed to sell to an actual dragon?!?!?)”
: “(Just gonna stick to the script and hope for the best... may be hard since they’re greedy and can roast me at any second... er... what do I even say? Nice weather we’re having, please don’t make me into a mosquito shish-kabob?!? Hope it’ll work... deep breath now, Swattson...)”
Swatt approaches Saffire as stiff as humanly possible. He loosens up as soon as he says his first words to her.
: “Hey there, buddy! Are you interested in agriculture, but have nowhere to start?! THEN I HAVE THE PRODUCT FOR YOU, FRIEND! It’s called Cropcircle™, the only planter made with out of this world alien technology!!”
He pulls out a bright green box behind his back. It’s pretty big, and has the picture of some kind of contraption on the front. It looks incredibly unsafe.
: “All you have to do is plant your seeds in the compartments, and the Cropcircle will take care of everything else!! It can grow up to 1000x faster than normal planting! Isn’t that neat or what?!? And only for 1,995 too! A total steal!”
: “What do you say, m’lady?”
He fakes confidence really well at least...

Saffire stared down at the stranger in front of her. What WAS he? She never seen an animal like him. She listened to them speak and she looked at the product he was trying to show. She barely understood anything he said, all she caught was that he was selling something related to planting. But she remembered her journey to the town and how there were many people like the stranger in front, trying to sell her things. At first she fell for them a few times, but she learned after the sixth time that they were never good.
"Um... I sorry. I not have money." During the stranger's speech, a head popped out of Saffire's belly pouch and it looked at him curiously.
"???" Saffire patted the child's head.
"Need save much money for him."

Swatt: “(A-A dragon that has a dinosaur kid... not the strangest group I ran into, but definitely up there... bet that kid’s smackin’ his lips just lookin’ at me... just back away slowly and hope things go all for the best...)”
: “Seems like I got the wrong guy! Sorry for that, madam!!! Have a lovely rest of your day!!”
He turns away from the two with absolute terror coursing through his body, weird planter contraption in hand. It seems like he’s going to start walking away, but his body was seemingly paralyzed in fear. His fur spikes up.

She nodded but then stared in confusion when he didn't leave.
"Is Mister alright?" The child hopped out of Saffire's pouch and ran up to Swatt, standing in front of him with a happy look on his face, his tail feathers wagging.
"Makai like Mister." She then tilted her head.
"Before Mister leave, I want ask, what is Mister? Never seen animal like you."

Swatt: “oh... H-hey there, little sport!!”
He smiled and waved at Makai, taking a deep breath before looking back to Saffire.
: “oh... yeah. Just a mosquito, nothin’ too special. Little bloodsucking fly that bothers everyone? T-That’s me. Don’t have em over in Dragon Land, I bet.”

Makai giggled happily when the stranger acknowledged him.

"No. Much too cold where I come from for any kind of insect to live."
"Does 'Sweetson' live off blood? Like fleas from epidemic?"
"Oh... That would be... Lots if so..."

: “Would probably die if I tried!! Too many blood bags needed to keep this fly alive!! ~
How weird. His tone seemed to change drastically throughout this conversation... from more high-pitched and professional-like all the way back to a lower, more snarky one.
It was almost like two different people in the same body...
: ”...plus it’s Swattson. Not Sweetson, kid.”
: “Proper ponounciation’s really important when you’re making a point!!”

"...." Makai started to get fussy.
"!!!" Saffire grabbed him and placed him in her pouch, where he protested before settling down. He knew he wasn't going to win.
"Ah, am sorry. We must go."

"This be Makai. He hatch recently."
"Am Saffire. Nice to meet!" Makai smiled happily at the stranger and tried his darnedest to get out of Saffire's pouch. Saffire gave him a hand and set Makai down on the ground, where he looked up at Saffire and the stranger.

"Hello Sock! Makai greet Sock~ Icha Sock~" The baby looked at Saffire with a smile when she said that and then looked at Sock.
"~!!" He hopped up and down and got closer to Sock, looking him over excitedly.
"Ah! Nosa! Nosa!" Makai stopped and went back to Saffire, giving a happy look. Saffire sighed but smiled.
"Am sorry. Makai very curious since hatching."
"Need much attention more in night time."

Merlin starts speaking in a very broken version of a dragon language, of course, it isn't even starian, though, after he finishes his sentence, he puts on a big proud smile.

She looks down at the squirrel, confusion on her face as he was speaking a different language. When he finished and smiled, she stared. Her magic helped translate what he was saying to her, but it was too broken to make sense. She recognized a few words that was from her language but that was it.
"I hope cloud not bring fire either..." She giggled a little.

"Ah...!" She was surprised. She didn't think the people of the ground knew magic too. She had a lot to learn. "That is... so amazing."
"M-Maybe Merlin can... show some time? A-And I show Merlin! I know magic!" She wasn't lying. She did know her species type of magic. It was mandatory that she knew it. She just had trouble performing it since she was still technically 'young.'

Merlin's tail twitched happily, he'd never really known anyone else aside from his mentor who had magic, mostly because where he came from, people who did learned to keep it more a secret, though he didn't totally know why.

"Ah! I know!" She rubbed the meteorite that was her necklace and it gave off a soft glow which transferred to her hand. She then poked Merlin's head. The glow disappeared from her hand and she said with a smile,
