who are the people on there? Having not fully read the silmarillion, I only know Gandalf, Galadriel and Saruman... [assuming you get your inf. from the silmarillion]

They are Thranduil, Radagast and Elrond. Tolkien writings are not really clear about who is a member of the White Council. I decided to use pictures from the Hobbit Movie only

You forgot Saruman (in the major ones, anyway), Celeborn (how can anyone forget Celeborn as a prime member?) and Cirdan (perfectly fine that you skipped him since there is no movie image of him). Thank you for including Thranduil in this! So many people forget that Tolkien said he's actually a member of the White Council, so it's nice to see that someone remembered. These are very good images too. Galadriel's hair looks a little cheap and too-obviously fake (but I know that's not your fault). But I loved the image of Elrond in this! I think my eyes widened a little at the sight of him.

I did'nt forget Saruman, Celeborn, or Cirdan. I choose to work only with pictures of the upcoming movie. Concerning Thranduil Tolkien writings are not very clear on this subject. We know that Saruman, Gandalf, Galadriel and Elrond were in the council. For a lot of other members things are not so clear

The writings of Tolkien on this subject are not really clear. We know that Gandalf, Saruman, Galadriel were in the council, but we don't really know for people like Radagast or Thranduil. So I decided to add them both

Dans le film non, mais dans les faits il me semble qu'on peut lire chez Tolkien que Radagast prend part à certains des rassemblements. D'autant que c'est le Conseil qui décide de l'assaut contre Dol Guldur à Mirkwood. Il me semble que certaines des informations au sujets du Nécromancien viennent du Mage Brun (sans compter sur l'exploration de Gandalf)... J'avoue que j'aurais préféré ne pas le mettre, la vision de PJ sur Radagast me déplait.

En fait Tolkien ne dit rien de précis sur le sujet. On m'a fait la même remarque par rapport à Thranduil. On sait qui fait partie du Conseil, mais ils ne sont pas les seuls (ça Tolkien le dit il me semble) du coup les autres ne sont que des suppositions... Que Radagast apparaisse, tout comme Saruman ne me dérange pas, chronologiquement certains événements sont parallèles à ceux du Hobbit. C'est vraiment Radagast qui me déplait : il est loin le vieux sage qui vit en harmonie avec la nature. On a le droit à un père noël au look de pochtron avec de la fiente dans les cheveux qui fait des courses de traineau...
