How so? I find that monuments like these shows the love they had for their children and wanted to show the world that they would not be forgotten.

It does show that they loved their child, but the image strikes deep. It's a stone baby in a crib. The weathering on the child's face as well makes the eyes look so sorrowful and deathly. It's saying that this is unequivocally a child's tomb and that is very tragic.

interesting monument. Perhaps a angled shot in B&W would work well if you wanted creepy or a closeup to emphasise the sad tale.

Two hour drive? That is DEDICATED photography, my friend! The erosion makes her look creepier than originally intended. Poor little kid probably died young too.

They said it was at Bellfontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. So I contacted a friend that works at Bellefontaine Cem. and she said it is over at Calvary Cem. Which is right next door. So I was bored today and jumped in the car and took the 2 hour drive to look for it.
