For
I sorry I died... T3T
---
Name: Raela (Rae) Sky
Codename: Bunny
Clan: Posl'edniy Den'
Specialization(s): Espy, Merakim in training
Age: 18
Height: 5’5’’
Weight: 125lbs
Personality: On the outside Rae can seem distant and cold. Many would consider her a loner, but those would be the people who have not yet tried to get under her skin. Tolerance for what she would assume to be idiots are normally out the window, and she would put in extreme efforts to avoid them, especially if they are allies. She also irritates easily and will often lash out. The best way to get on her good side? Lavish her with cute objects, the more bunny the better. She will love you forever. Or, well, as much as superficial love can get you.
She can get extremely stubborn and will often fight for what she believes is right, which can get her into trouble. Especially since her physical strength is quite lacking.
After the death of her parents, and a few select friends, she refuses to allow herself to develop attachments to anybody. No this is not because she has developed some sort of hatred towards people with enough consciousness to irritate her terribly, but because she has witnessed the death of everyone close to her. Death has chased her back into that turtle shell. Despite that, there will still be people that she respects and looks up to.
She won't speak of her past to anyone. And there are very few that know of it.
At times she will most definitely stick out like a sore thumb due to her girly mannerism and polite attitude. However, despite that, she is an excellent actress and most definitely uses her looks to her advantage. Given her youthful and innocent appearance, most men would falter before killing her. More if she’s lucky. If she were to be caught, this would provide her with a few extra seconds to come up with an exit plan.
Should she have to kill, she follows a more tactical approach, falling back on the use of poisons, and silent approaches. Getting her hands dirty would be a last resort.
Under extreme situations, her personality can snap, bringing out something that doesn't mind having murder on her hands. Normally occurs when she's irritated.
Likes: Cute, soft, and fluffy objects, bunnies, spicy food or just food in general, sour candies, the color green, people (normally denied), keeping her face hidden, sleep
Dislikes: Being alone, the cold, blood, killing people directly, missions going awry, owing people, pain, feeling vulnerable, mutants(mainly because her parents were killed by them), her brother
Weapon: Katana laced with poison. Because she will mainly take on jobs that don’t require killing, the use of this is normally at a last resort, and her plan, in entirety, has somehow failed to the point where she needs to ends things personally to prevent a trail back to her. Due to her lack of physical strength she always has her sword laced with poison in order to ensure the death of her target. It’s a fallback that she wishes that she would never have to use, however nothing ever ends perfectly.
Bio/History: Rae was an ordinary gal. Just normal daughter of a politician. She was obedient to her parents and rarely caused trouble, if any. She understood her parent’s busy schedule and even when she found her father fucking a woman other than her mother, she was never asked questions and continued as if nothing ever happened. She never complained, and learned to never take things for granted. She worked hard at school, and eventually earned the rank of valedictorian of her class and engrossed herself in many extracurricular activities in order to block the loneliness. She had people constantly surrounding her, but always saw through their fake smiles, only causing the dark hole in her heart to grow.
She told herself that she wouldn't break. But a frail girl could only take so much. When her parents had decided to get a divorce and had the audacity to blame it on her, she wished for their death and ran away from home. Now she hadn't realized how scary the world was outside the safety of her home and school in Mira. She was lucky her brother was able to find her and bring her back before anything bad had happened, except, somehow, her wish had come true.
Their parents were dead.
Not that it really made much of a difference. She had her brother and the incoming credits would keep them more than well off.
But who knew that with a little alone time with their uncle, all that had changed. Trust should have been strongest through siblings. But doubt couldn't have been more developed in the few minutes that they were apart. Their uncle had somehow set the two against each other, explaining to her that her brother had planned to collect her inheritance by killing her. He wouldn't be able to keep her safe and if she wanted to live, she would have to run away and never show her face in high society ever again. The shock of her parent’s death was already overwhelming but now with her brother after her, she didn't know what to believe.
And so she ran. Never looking back and holding a distaste for mutants and her brother that only grew over time.
Extra: Rae is 100% human, for now. Over the years she had debated whether or not to undergo some enhancements, but the thought of pain always deters her. So her physical and sensory abilities are all around average. Her wit and acting abilities, however, can make up for most of this. She is versatile in different activities, ranging from gymnastics to piano. However anything she is isn't’t familiar with, she can pick up easily.
Most signs point to Salazar (her brother) for the murder of her parents, and even he, himself believes that he was the cause of their death. However, this couldn't be further from the truth, and the real culprit is a lot closer than she realizes.
RP Sample: (At least one paragraph using one of the prompts below. This is to give others an idea of your writing style for RP, so do your best to give a good example.)
1 - Your character has an assignment currently, on the outside of town, by the docks. They have a hit to complete on a higher up that your clan has beef with. Your character is situated and ready for the attack. When the target arrives, they have a child with them. Your character cannot come back with a failed mission. What do they do?
Rae couldn't believe it. What had promised to be an easy, quick and painless job just went sour. Her target, a young man with nothing to lose, was deemed a threat by her clan for reasons of vague importance. He had just docked his speed boat, tied it up and stepped out, looking around with obvious anxiety.
She planned a couple of attacks for the target. The first was simple enough. She could do her best to climb a nearby storage container, wait for him to walk by, and drop on him with all her might. Then snap his neck. Then push him into the water. But, to be a direct cause of death still worried her. She just simply wasn't ready, to not know how it would affect her sanity. No, a quick nick with her blade would be more than enough to get the poison into his body, and from there, she would allow the poison to do the work. His death could have been an 'accident'.
However, as she reached the peak of a storage container, she saw the spoiling element to her operation. A child. Rae watched as a little girl, most likely no older than 6 or 7, climbed out of the boat's undercarriage and grabbed the man's hand. Rae scowled, an internal conflict brewing. ‘Could that perhaps be his... daughter?’ Her scowl deepened at the thought and even more at the next. ‘A-and... I would have to kill he-?’ She stopped, closing her eyes for a moment to recompose herself, to pull her mind back on track. There could be other reasons the child was there, but given how the child was clinging to the man’s arm, daughter had to be the most likely.
Killing the father was a given, as the orders were clear. Succeed or don't even bother returning, and she wasn't about to give up her home for the sake of someone else. She had already made that mistake once before. But for the daughter, well, she would allow the events to decide her fate.
And so she decided to stick with her plan.
The man picked up his daughter and started walking towards Rae’s direction. This was it. She waited till the very last second to drop down behind them, her sword drawn. All she had to do was slash the man across the back, and she was about to do so. However, the girl’s wide hazel eyes staring at her in terror caused her to hesitate, and that brief moment nearly cost her the mission.
“DADDY!!” The girl let out a scream before burying her face into her father’s shoulder, and the man turned, drawing his gun in the process until it was aimed at Rae’s head.
‘Dammit...’
“You think you could have snuck up on me?” The man asked, a victorious smirk upon his face. “Now, who do you work for, and why the hell are you after me?”
Rae scoffed. Using his own daughter for protection wasn't a bad move, but he was just flat out lucky it was Rae facing him and not another of her fellow clan members. Anyone else wouldn't have made the mistake she did. But God, was he an idiot. “Do you not know what this symbol stands for?” She replied annoyance clearly found in her voice and waved her sleeve so that the P’D symbol made his vision, “Or are you just not that perceptive?”
“Tch!” Irritated, the man dropped his child, first perhaps for her safety, but also to increase his own mobility. When the girl was out of the way, he continued with his pathetic attempts of establishing his dominance over the situation. “With the position you’re in, shouldn't you try to appe-?”
The man had pushed enough of her buttons to throw her over the edge and the only fitting punishment she saw fit for a man so annoying was death. Preservation of mind was no longer a concern. Without allowing him to finish his sentence, she spun a kick in a swift motion, her heel making contact with the back of his wrist, causing the gun to go flying. She followed the kick with her sword.
He reacted quickly enough to dodge it, but that horribly annoying smirk was wiped from his face. She could have ended his life right then and there. It would have been simple and easy, and she could have gone home. After all, that was all she had wanted to so since she had gotten here. Yet, something inside her still wanted to prove herself before she put an end to his worthless life. To show him who was the one that truly needed to be begging, and that sure as hell wasn't Rae. And so after sheathing her sword, she lunged a few kicks and punches. He did a lousy job of dodging, many of her attacks making contact and she was merely using the basic attacks taught to her from training. Each connected blow sent bursts of euphoria coursing through her. She wasn't completely sure why,but perhaps it just felt nice to vent out previous anger and current irritation on that bastard.
He tried to counter some, and threw a few punches of his own, but she was too quick for him. His movement was sluggish and predictable none the less. Yet somehow, she still had the audacity to open his mouth to boast. Rae wouldn't tolerate any of it and she quickly silenced him a series of punches and a smash with her elbow forcing him to the ground. For someone that wanted her to beg for her life, he sure had no game. He moaned and coughed as he tried to drag himself away. She studied her work. His face was bruised and she was certain she had broke his nose from the blood running out from it. Rae frowned. It wasn't enough. HE wasn't in enough pain, and she wasn't satisfied.
And so she kicked at him, her foot colliding into his chest multiple times, the audible snap of his cracking ribs and screams of pain finally leaving her with complacency. She drew her sword and positioned it right above his heart. Forget the poison, she wanted to put an end to him herself, but before she could plunge her katana in, a gun fire sounded and a sudden searing pain shot through her upper left arm.
The damn child shot her.
“L-leave my daddy alone!!” The child yelled from behind her, her eyes squeezed shut and the gun in her hand, aimed at Rae’s general direction. The first shot only hit by chance, and the next, if there were to be one, wouldn't be so lucky. Rae would have been enraged further to have been interrupted, let alone the bullet in her arm. However, the girl’s voice was able to put an end to Rae’s sadistic streak.
She turned to face the child, and assessed the situation. Right now the girl seemed to be more of a threat. “Put the gun down.” Rae scolded, hoping the child would take to reason. But the girl only shook her head.
“N-not until you leave you leave my Daddy alone!” She yelled once more.
Sighing Rae quickly disarmed the child and used the back of the gun to knock her out. ‘I'm sorry, but I just can't do that.’ After gently setting the girl to the side, she returned her victim, who was now begging for his own life.
“Please, please! Don’t kill me. You want money, right? I can get you lots of money. How much do you want?!” Between a few words he paused to cough up some blood, but his words were useless. Before, she may have agreed to the money, but now she wanted something more than that. More than anything, she wanted a home, a place where she would belong. And if killing this man could give her a little piece of that, then she would do it. Her clan was willing to accept her, even in her weak state, and for that, she would always be loyal.
Rae’s emerald eyes glared at the man before ruthlessly plunging her sword into his shoulder.
“I don’t want your money,” she replied simply, waiting for the poison to do its work before sheathing her sword. She didn't feel bad about what she did, the man deserved it in one way or another, but the child didn't. Walking away, leaving the man’s body thrashing against the pavement for a good few minutes before his life faded.
She only looked back to confirm his death, but the unconscious child caught her attention, taking a great deal of will to look away.
‘She’ll be okay right?’ She began to wonder, turning back to her path. ‘I survived, so.... she should be fine... right?' She slowly made her way back to her clan, clenching the bullet wound on her left arm. The uneasiness in her heart grew with each step. She had ruined that child's life, and during the moment, she had even enjoyed all the pain she had inflicted. She found her newly discovered sadism to be greatly disturbing and wanted to lock it away forever. But for now, she had a more pressing matter at hand. The pain had final gotten to her and she threw out a few curses. It would need to be treated before she took on a another mission.
But please, no more assassinations.
(I kinda lack combat creativity.... =3= )
