here's an illustration I did a few months back!

a lady was looking for someone to create a couple of illustrations for her upcoming book and this was a test illustration.
I came in second place, but at least I can show it here! X3

so basically, the little girl and boy were playing together when the girl went for the boy's stuffed sheep. he didn't like that and snapped at her, making her cry. the mother came in the room to see what happened and told the little boy that what he did wasn't nice. feeling bad, he decides to share his sheep with the girl so they can play together again =3

I tried to interpret the lady's story the best I could and create an illustration that would complement the text.

I also tried to add recognizable symbols for children such as numbers, letters, shapes and popular toys (ducks on a string anyone? =3)

inked with Sakura Microperm and Pilot Fineliner pens and colored with Prismacolor Premier and Alpha Design markers
