Ive been very pissed off tonight.
on a lighter note, i felt as if drawing would calm me down so i attempted a few things, and suddenly had the craving to draw hands. WTF?
probably the most least addictive, helpful and never going to happen again craving ever.
i hate hands, and i cant draw them at all. and then BAM.
meh. hope these come in handy for someone as well as me
and um... no one say anything about the hand writing. i used my own hands as ref for these, (which is why they're all left handed) and the drawing hand is actually how i hold my pen...>.>"

lol whenever I try to sketch my own hand the fingers always come out short and chubby....cause my fingers are like that...know any tips to make you hands long and elegant? jk xD

hahaha i cant say i know how to make YOUR hands look long and elegant but if you want the ones in the picture to, try tapering the tip of your finger and using longer lines

you know, what would be even better than this, is to sketch your own hand as its in front of you. thats what i did for these.
you see different parts you would normally miss in sketches.

yeah, i have a lot of problems myself with legs too. usually just the knee though. i think i might post some kind of tutorial on legs maybe?

Feet are difficult too, but they are easier to hide or cut off in pictures I think. I dunno, feet are easy for me. I can do hands too sometimes, but they come out pretty crummy for the most part.

Yeah that's true. I'll have to work at drawing them eventually. The thing about Naruto characters is that they have the damn open-toed shoes. That annoys me to no end. XD *is tempted to draw them wearing socks* HAHA!

I am pretty happy with how my contest entry is coming out so far... XD But I keep getting annoyed with it b/c I'm not used to drawing. And I have no tablet. That doesn't help much. Lol. I saw one at the store for only $50 that I am thinking of getting. My husband was so happy when he found out I put photoshop on his computer. XD
I actually like drawing, when it's on the computer and not in a notebook or something. I have a creative mind and no outlet for it. Well, I have the writing but it's just not the same.

i feel the same a lot too. i get frustrated at drawing and turn to writing but its not the same. i used to hate digital art, like it was the cheaters way , but now i feel good about it because it IS just as difficult, and im not wasting paper (which i did ALOT)
$50 is really good for a tablet 8D
trust me, when you get one youll wonder how you lived without it

I think digital art is MORE difficult! Or at least it is for me, anyway... I could draw something on paper and it would be pretty easy but the result would be crappy b/c let's face it, there are only so many special effects you can get on paper. But with the computer, I like it better b/c it takes more time, but the end result is that much more spectacular. But then again, I don't really know. XD I also like it b/c no one can see what I draw or come across them later and think I'm weird or something. It's so embarrassing for people to see what I draw for some reason.

I am embarrassed for people to see. Lol. My writing was always different. I didn't mind showing it to people. XD But I was still afraid to some things, or new stuff.
