argh. i have been doing this for over a year probably, i have abandoned it twice, but for some reason i ended up finishing it. probably because i like the idea. who knows.
also ended up trying something different with the background because the usual white didn't work and black borders just looked - not right. added a title too.
the basic pen & ink.

Simply amazing. The textures are going to destroy my mind! I also like, as is the case in many of your works, how it all seems like a snippet of a bigger story. This and many other picture's themes, places and characters combined would create a wonderful world of its own.

Harmikseni olen huomannut piirtämisessä, tarinoinnissa tai muussa taiteilussa yleensäkin, että täysin uusia ideoita on vaikea keksiä. Kun keksin jonkun idean, niin pian huomaankin, että sen on jo joku muukin keksinyt paljon aiemmin. Tämä kuva herätti ensiksi ajatuksen: "Onpas hieno idea!", mutta sitten mieleeni palasi se Muumien jakso, jossa oli näkymätön tyttö. Mutta toisaalta; tämä onkin MELKEIN näkymätön tyttö, ja siten mainio idea!

I actually started three different versions of this, each with a slightly different technique, just because i really didn't think that she would look almost invisible. After all, I ended up finishing the first version.
