Horror movie scene - I choose you!
Yes, in fact this is the first thing I thought about when I saw this piece. "This is an ideal scene for a mystery murder".
Beautiful place with amazing greenery, which in reality I haven't seen for a very long time. The (red) barn is ideally situated in the middle of this greenery with a pond right in front of it. I remember I've read somewhere that red color is the ideally matching color for the green.
The piece itself is very atmospheric. You can almost sense the darkness crawling from the trees, wrapping the mystery around the barn. The reflection of the barn in the pond only adds a certain mystification to the piece.
Absolutely lovely piece, which makes me want to spend the day watching horror movies.
