Time to share a little Valentine's Day project!
Anyhow, this is how I feel a successful date between these two would look like
Dee Dee always wanted a tea party guest who believes lets her pretend she's a beautiful princess; Mandark would have probably preferred to throw a candle-lit dinner, but he's so taken that this is all he can handle at his tender age

My logic on this ship is that her playtime needs to be treated like a princess go well with Mandark's ego.
"She's a princess; she deserves nothing but the best. Only I, the Monarch of Darkness, am fit for her."
Most importantly, he's a Dexter who actually wants to be cuddled, by her specifically but you get the idea.
