"um...glasses, luv. might i have them back?"quick doodle for a couple I truly envy. Based very loosely on stories I’ve heard of Yoko’s insecurity and the way John would push her hair from her face. It’s the kind of thing that, to me, speaks volumes to them both.
and you know what...I don’t want to hear it...if you don’t like it, just keep on walk’n. Cause from where I stand, there was something beautiful in what John had with Yoko. I envy him immensely, in fact. You don’t have to like it, you don’t have to even acknowledge it, but there you have it.

I love Yoko, it makes me sad sometimes that people just don't take the time to get to know her and get past their petty judgments and conclusions. I think that Yoko and John were made of the same stuff and were meant to be together. I do love Cyn too, but she was better off without him.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono are a famous art couple from the 1970’s. He was a bit of a wild card, she was cool and refined. John was notoriously infatuated with Yoko and while most people tend not to like her she was one of the first people to really introduce him to himself as an artist. Their story ended tragically when John was killed in front of their home in NYC. She still lives on and works as an abstract artist.

*sigh* I know, and it’s kind of sad. The best I can figure, it’s because she comes off as a bit of a ‘cold fish.’ But you know, she did for John what no one else could, and if nothing else it gave him moments of happiness, and I got to love her for that. It was so rare for him.
