I have a cockatiel named Franky, and she's so animated! She will let you know what bothers her and what she wants to do. If she wants to play with us, she'll scream at us. When she thinks something is too loud, she'll scream until you get the louder...thing quiet.
But we all love her.
This picture is great! I love how one cockatiel's like, "What is that in your hand? A camera? What's a camera?" While one is like, "What's goin' on?"

ah yes the cockatiel screams.. chiken does that sometimes - not sure why, cause his never make sense haha. i giggled when your birdie wants something turned down.

How did you come up with a name like "Chiken" for it? (Also, is it a "he" or a "she"?)

chiken was originally stanly (via the petstore). i've had them both for over 10 years. when chiken was younger - he would get all puffy when he rested, and looked just like a chicken 
ya they are both boys

Until very recently I had 2 cockatiels, Sunny (a lutino)and Gerty (natural coloration). Both of them were a bit over 20 yrs old, unfortunately Gerty passed away a couple weeks ago.
Treasure your time with them while you can!

White faced cockatiels are my favorite! I miss my babies.. I used to breed my cockatiels and they had white faced babies a couple times.
