Amazing and beautiful Lacey Mosley from Flyleaf
Done while a very bad weather in Prague on my HP TC4400 laptop with Adobe Photoshop CS3
I don't know how much time it took - but I had some problems with tablet drivers... I think it was about 5-6hours (consider drawing on 12'' screen with that small pen from HP xD)
Anyways - I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do

It's a very fine machine
The tablet works just like any Wacom tablet - and you paint on the screen - just like with Cintiq series! 
Ofc it would be best if you could get the one with the strongest CPU (it supports even the T6400 CPU) and invest in some RAM (cause by default it had 1GB).
Additional thing would be a bigger HDD - but I work with the default 80GB and have no problems
