you know this makes me think of two headcanons I have for swindle. one: he knows how to use most if not all weaponry he sells two: he is a bit of a gun nut

Number one actually makes a lot of sense to me. You can sell things better when you know how the merchandise works, right? You don't go into an electronics store and ask an associate how something works, only for them to go, "Uhhh...I dunno..."
And number two is pretty funny in my head! I can see him being obsessive about guns -- though I personally see him as being a detached sort of person, never letting things hold his interest for too long, all the better to get the cash flowing, but to each their own! :]
