i think the texture u used was ery good, gives it an eary feel, like murky.sometimes messing with textre and tone gives the pic more than the photo or watever, 2 thumbs to the sky

Beautiful shading, especially around the nose and the lips. You've really rendered the face well - I'm pretty impressed by how realistic the nose is (this is something I really need to improve on). The specks of light on the nose and in the irises really breathe life into the picture, and give it that extra kick to make it jump out of the page.
There are a few things that could do with improving: mainly the contrast between the bottom of the hat and the forehead, which is a little blurred. Maybe a small highlight around the brim would define things a little more? I don't know, it's just a suggestion for an otherwise very cool picture.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the nose- that's my favorite part (or was- it got a bit smudged before I was finished).
I was drawing from a picture (obviously), and in this picture, the shadowy side of the hat blended seamlessly with the shadowy part of the face- I drew it like this, but my scanner puts these random light spots on my pictures. I agree though- on this website, it looks pretty messed up. I'll try to burn/make it darker in photoshop later.
