Aren't they cute? I made these two last weekend, using a pattern by marki-san, though he has moved to a different account, and the pattern is gone as well....these two took forever to make, and so I've been bringing them with me wherever I go.(including school, and I didn't even get in trouble.XD)

Oh, I've had that happen quite a few times. That may either be because it isn't threaded right, or the tensionon the thread might need to be changed.

That's why I use a pattern, and a sewing machine(for most of it)!
And don't worry, accidently pricking yourself with the needle is common, very common.

Naw, you don't really need one, but things do go a lot quicker with one.
Hmmm... If you do want a sewing machine though, I suggest posting a wanted add on freecycle, that's where mine came from!^^

yep! Though you may want to find a sewing class, so you can get aquainted to treading the machine, threading the bobin, adjusting tension on the thread, etc. It doesn't really have to be any longer than a week(that's how long my class lasted) and it should be a lot of fun.^^

If there's a craft store in your town, and they sellalotof fabrics and sewing materials, then they're pretty likely to have sewing classes.
