I also draw a lot of frozen related things - haven't shaded like this, but will be shading the next one! ***inspiration*** Β 

Also - just wanted to ask - how do you get your shading so smooth? Which pencils have you used?

This one is a mix of marker pens and pencil.Β 
To help blend out pencil shading I sometimes use pieces of folded tissue, other than that just barely touch the paper to shade out light areas.
I couldn't really say which pencils I use.. it changes depending on which I find laying around
