Birds... I went there. I blame *Majime .I also have a thing for small birds. I want one.
Contest entry for =Aivre 's palette contest. The palette I received is on the picture (since it had to be).
Castro is a Pygmy Nuthatch that lives here in the SF Bay Area (since that is one of the places they live). Perhaps in the Castro Valley... LAWLS.
He's laughing at someone hence the wings are higher than normal. He's a jackass that likes to show off.
Umm ummm happy new year I guess. Sorry that I have been nonexistent lately. I'll do a journal like tomorrow or something. I had to quickly do this since I forgot about the contest till like yesterday when I was out celebrating and I am leaving in around a half an hour so yeah. More red pandas to come soon. I might even open a few red panda "requests" to my watchers to show my appreciation. I don't know.

I have three birds at my house, they're parakeets. Colorful ones. I'd recommend if you want small birds, these would be best. Cockateils are too bitey, and finches are plain crazy. Lorikeets tend to be awfully loud, and Amazon parrots usually have really messy cages to clean up.
But anyways, I really love this bird! It's so cute, and the nice purple gradient on the primary wing shaft. Same with the rudder feathers.

They are the best! I have one that frequents the backyard daily and has been for a couple years now. I LOVE HIM. He makes me go "awwwwwwwww" and I stand there and watch him as he tries to show off while diving into our pond to clean himself.
