I used a reference from Google images for the pony's head for inspiration, I'm still not a master in drawing horses, but still, I am pleased the way I did the light effects.I see this pony as a small and fluffy beast, gentle and loving, especially towards Sam. It is inspired after the movie version with that line on his forehead, but as always, Tolkien gave them such attention, to animals I mean. From talking great eagles, to Lord of Horses, which is Shadowfax - Iute ca Gândul, in Romanian, to wolves, ravens. and so on...oh, and trees, especially trees!
