Very detailed! It shows trees, hills, and a river, as well as the stars and clouds above. The technique used to show the water is very well done, however this piece of art is not the most orginal. I see the sun setting and that gives a nice effect, however I see little shadows on the hill. The tress behind the hill and the sun should have a shadow effect, giving it to be more natural when that is added. The water seems so smooth before it ripples near that rocks, however rivers do have ripples in a flat river bed. The curret and winds bring small rippes, however your river has none. Over all very well done, just check on the details and you are sure to gain 5 stars.

Thanks for the critique. I'm not sure if you realized, but this is a photo and not a digital landscape. It was taken at about 11:00pm facing east so there is no light from the setting sun. The lighting on the clouds are a combination of distant cloud to cloud lightening and reflection of city lights. The hillside is lit by the moon, which was behind me where there were less clouds. Maybe I should darken the hillside a little and it will show the shadows cast by the moon better. Also, the river appears so smooth above the rocks because it was about a 30sec exposure which smoothed out the river. I agree it is not very original, that is something I am working on in my art.
