lalalalalashe is kind of er....hugging a big bubble. not sure it's very cleer xD i don't know how air bubbles actually look like xD
well...i did my best at doing it
took me about 3 hours to do... more or less....
used sai!!!!!! brush and airbrush is the only thing i used!!!
trying to draw with no reference.
those hands are hurting my eyes, i should really practice more.

This is a lovely picture!
You did a fantastic job with her anatomy and proportions. I love the way she is holding the bubble. Also this is really well painted, it feels like an actual oil painting. The folds in her dress are paint wonderfully.
The thing I think that her hand are a tad bit off. I'm not sure if they were meant to be drawn that way or not but it's a little odd. Also her face is shaped a bit weird, her eyes seem a bit too high. Another thing the blue X going through her hair seems a bit out of place. I understand that it's a part of your signature, but maybe moving it over?
All and all, great job! Your hand probably hurt! XD

oh, the x is not part of my signature, my signature is just my scribled name(just put it there because it looked cool xD)
i am not sure where the x came from, but i could not remove it, so i just let it be. probably a problem with the layers since i had over 50 of the xD
i finaly decided to leave it, since i got tired of trying to remove it unsuccesfully ;n;
hahaha, i have my body numb by now xD 4 hours non stop -_-'' well, i didn't want to stop because i was listening to harry potter audiobook, and wanted to keep listening!! xD

I am glad you appreciate it. Hands are very tricky and require a lot practice, I found a very nice (long but nice), tutorial on hands, right here [link] .
I know how it feels to have a ton of layers and it's hard to find your mistake area. (which is why I only use about one or two layers when I paint).
Ah yes~ Harry Potter is a great book series, I read the entire thing!

how do you do that o.o
i use one layer for skin, clothes(at least 3 layes each), hair...etc. then each layer has it's own shades(layer clipped). then it has 3 layers of lighting
then cool color effects and many other things.
how can you reduce all that to 2 layers?? o.o

Oh with painting? I do it traditional style I paint right over my sketchy line art in SAI. Eh... we all have different styles and techniques. I like this method because the lineart-color-in method never really worked for me.
I really liked book four! Though book five was my absolute favorite! ( I kind of cried at the end of that one). The ending of book four also left me depressed.

I don't use line art at all basically, it's always been bothersome to me. But, your pictures look really good with it, I love how your line art emphasizes the art very well.

oh, no, not really, it is not so dificoult. i have no idea of what i'm doing most of the time xD i didn't know hoy to put the wrinckles(or however you spell it lol xD) in the bottom part of the dress.
and most of the magic is about using ''layer clip'' lol!!

I flip things all the time OTL mmn they used to look super-crap before but now i flip while in sketching mode so the sketch looks fine both ways, and everything else afterwards should too ^^
