What an amazing artwork!! The human shapes are perfect... the colours of the skinhave a wonderful contrast with the flaming-orange and azure tonalities of his fish part of the face. The eyes are so intense and are looking down with a sense of sadness (or maybe disappointment?) making the watcher understand more about his personality just looking for few seconds at him.
The hair looks clearly wet ... the strategy to draw it with a few fast brushtstrokes was genius and the result obtained is absolutely divine. Another wonderful detail are the reflections of the white light all over the skin of this sea crature. Few and fast little white lines could make his shape shine like a fish skin and looks so realistic. It remembers me the techinque of many netherland oil artists.
The result is absolutely amazing and if i could give a valutation on a critique would surely be:
