I think that it would be cool to actually see a pokemon use honedge though it is supposed to drain the energy of the user or something like that right so I don't know how well that would work out.

simple, the honedge can decide to absorb or not, and if it really likes the other pokemon, then they unleash their power, like using Bulk up and Slash
