Description Non-significant little illustration for aRedtail's Dream from about a month ago, I wanted to check if my blue and red inks could be mixed to get a non-retarded purple. And the answer is *drumroll*: ummm, maybe? The red is kind of too warm to get a vibrant purple out of the two, but the result is still kind of usable.

Aaa, totally random scene with no real counterpart in the comic, I guess it could be from chapter one if it wasn't for Hannu's outfit. :3

Blue and Red ink, watercolors, some details with white acrylics.

What is the name of the red ink and blue ink that you use? I bought some to paint a two-tone painting with and I'm not sure I got the right colours. I wanted some that look like these colours, but my red looks suspiciously pink and the blue looks off... They could be the right colors but I can't tell

The bottle says "Red flame", looks like a warm carmine red to me, and the brand is Daler Rowney. Definitely not pink-looking.

I'll have to get some of that. The ink I have is just "carmine" not "warm carmine" and when I use it, it is defintitely pink... Thank you for helping me

I am sure you can vary the amounts of red to blue ratio and perhaps get a varied and more passable result? Looks great either way!
