Rat of the Highest caliber plus I was surprised to see I hadn't posted this before.
The Vermensch, they occupy large cavernous networks underneath most of the Old World, from Europe all the way to what once was China. They are lead by the enigmatic Kali Ashira, a divine and heavenly figure or at least that's how the Rats like to describe their Broodmother. For the most part The Vermensch have kept to themselves throughout history, till the late 19th century that is. Although disputed it is generally agreed by the Reichlans that it was an act of aggression on the part of the Vermensch that sparked the Under Empire Wars between them... the Rats would dispute this, but they're Rats so why believe them!

Ratoria, the White Rat. It is said that this little rat was special, that she was actually not a rat at all. Yes some crack pot conspiracy theorists claim that she was in fact the knight Victoria the White Swan, she just so happened to be cursed to be a rat. now regardless of the validity of this wack job claim, it can't be denied that the appearance of Ratoria does in fact coincide with the temporary disappearance of Victoria... So hey maybe it's true?
