I think I know what's so funky about the eyes, they're pretty but the iris doesn't seem like it fits the picture, it's all swirly which makes it seem more light hearted and happy, when the rest of the picture is borderline Emo.
Also there's nothing in the background which sort of makes the scene seem daydream-ey. xD Otherwise I like the picture, and how he (especially that pale pale skin xD) stands out, I also love the rain water on his sweatshirt. I think that's my favorite part actually, the rain water xD
