ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, allow me to introduce you to this charming monstrosity, the product of milo2 listening to too much insane clown posse! ;_; it's burned a hole into my brain, and somehow one song, just one, made this guy burst onto the scene.

i want you all to meet jackal, also known occasionally as doctor jackal (which is usually followed swiftly by 'he's-not-really-a-doctor'). born jack sutler, he's been living every other kid's dream: he ran away to join the circus. well, technically, he joined a carnival, and he's not actually a clown. seriously. his areas of expertise include juggling dangerous objects, usually sharp and/or on fire, and sleight-of-hand. that ugly mug of his ain't grease paint; he had it tatooed several years ago. sometimes, but not often enough, he uses costume makeup to look like average joe. not often.

jackal lives in a trailer he's filled with all manner of bizarre knicknacks and curios... he has a soft spot for antiques and vintage clothing, once-living things in jars of formaldehyde, and animal skulls (his pride and joy being a monstrously large jacob sheep skull, which he is actually able to use as a helmet/mask/conversation piece). his girlfriend, missy hyde (yes, that is her name... dr. jackal and missy hyde, aren't they CUTE), is also part of the carnival, usually (wo)manning the kissing booth or acting as a walking pin-up. she thinks she's fat, but jackal is constantly telling her that 'yes, you do have big thighs, and godDAMNit i love 'em.' jackal's pretty okay with missy's kissing booth clientele, although when fellow carnival workers try to move in, he's not gonna let them walk away without a black eye or two.

nothing is known about jackal's childhood. all we have to go on are his eccentricities (antisocial, yes, but he's a spectacular crowd-pleaser). he doesn't talk about himself in any context; indeed, he hardly speaks at all. when he does, he's calm, an unexpected voice of reason despite his appearance. it's fairly obvious that he loves looking scary and throwing people off.
