Description Spock, showing off his poseable fingers and arms. I opted to use a thinner gauge wire in the arms as opposed to the one-size thicker gauge I had, because I wanted him to stay fairly soft, but I think the thicker wire might have given him more movement.


Does anyone else feel awkward having to touch an amigurumi's butt when making it? I had to touch his butt a lot. Lol.

It was quite a challenge, but really rewarding once I got the hang of it! It hope to make a Kirk some time. He's so lonely right now, and I want to try the design out again. Thanks!

Thank you! I want to try more hands in the future, perhaps with a smaller hook or thinner yarn. Those hands are pretty big, but I couldn't get them any smaller!

I'm currently halfway thorugh the 2009 Star Trek movie.. officially the first time I've ever tried watching anything Star Trek related. Seems to be a Trekkie day today.

I liked the 2009 one, but I liked the new one, Into Darkness, SO much more.
If you have Netflix, I strongly recommend watching some of the original episodes. They're really entertaining!

That's my only reason for watching it in the first place, I just wanted to see it so I could see Benedict Cumberbatch in the next one. Seeing as it's not out on dvd yet I'll have to wait I guess.. unless I go to the cinema.
