Just a glimpse of a little fairy tail fan-art I'm working on
It was really fun to try to do actual colored work though I was a bit nervous of how it would turn out. I tried to keep the layers at minium and so far I only have 7 layers at use (and for some reason I seem to keep many empty layers there as well). I've been really enjoying the work so far but it's still going to take a bit time till it's ready

It's beautiful! Just one thing to make it even better: your arm is getting a little skinny. if you make it a smidge thicker, your drawing would be perfect! Love you and your work!

I agree completely with your argument, but if you take a good look at lucy's arms, they are a little bit thicker than what you have drawn. You don't have to take my advice (you do you!), but I do believe that the arms are looking more like beautiful sticks (sorry!). Still love your work!

Hahha no problemo. I think the scaling makes the arm look smaller than it is but in full picture if I would make the arm any thicker it would look really fat. Especially since the arm is around same thickness as her neck already and making it even thicker would look really awkward :,DĀ
I still need to fix the shadows a bit in her arm covers, because they may also cause the illusion to happen.
