These subjects are a major part of our reality. I'm interested in the
'cartoon' style abstraction. In a way, you can get away with more
in a cartoon. However, it's eerie because the subject is hyper-real.
On some level 'Grand Theft Auto' life ideas are part of our very real
fantasies. But how greatly does this material lie become part of us?
Reducing everyone and thing into a cartoon makes it easier for us
to laugh when Daffy Duck gets a safe dropped on his head, but in
real terms it's dehumanizing, desensitizing. At what point does the
lie become the truth?
