I used to love snow.. Like every time I see it, I would just dash outside in my giant poofy jacket and roll around in the snow.Now..

Oh, my gosh... I'm the SAME way! Mom has a vido of me as a kid, playing in the snow in shorts and a tank top, and staying out LOOOOONG after my sister got too cold
but now.... Now I see one snowflake and run for cover

And down here in texas, no one knows how to behave in snow.... No one drives safely, and rather than clear the snow from the sidewalks, they just leave it there for people to trip over and slip on.....

It's like that in some areas of Canada too. They turn into ice from all the compression and then it turns into a slip fest for people who walk on it XD

I didn't even had the "before" part, 'cause in Sicily snow is even more rare than a midnight sun, I've never seen it in my whole childhood. It snowed a tiny tiny bit in 1990, I was born in 1991. I moved out of Sicily in 1999, and it snowed a bit in, uh, 2005 if I remember well. LOL
