Description Left to Right: Manvaran, Llami, and Khemai

Hindeva - The Hindeva region is located south of the Sahra desert and the Hanxi region. The often overlooked domain is rife with its own cultural practices and a unique variety of peoples.

Manvara: In the southeast of Thorn, a different powerful empire reigns. This is that of the Manvara, worshippers of the devas and characteristically in tune with a separate array of gods than those traditionally prayed to in the northern territories. They are also characterized by their wide array of unique trading items such as spices which rake in a high price outside of the Hindeva region.
As a diverse people, there are many subsects of Manvarans, but most Manvarans abide by a caste system which files its people into different hierarchical castes or varna which contain their own subgroups known as jati.
Main Real-Life Cultural Influences: Hindi

Llami: Along with the Manvarans, there is another ethnicity known as the Llami who inhabit the Dynasties Mountain Range along with a slew of other mountainous races such as the aarakocra and cloud giants. Llami, though most famous for their trained monks, are culturally diverse with all manner of people populating the region from the disciplined monks which inhabit the mountain peaks to the pastoral shepherds which herd ewe through the valleys.
Though the Llami have peaceful terms with the Manvara of the southwest, the Shavun of the northwest, and the Khemai of the southeast, they are beginning to face problems with the imperialist Xi Dynasty which views the region’s cultural practices to be backward compared to their own. This has led to many Llami fleeing into Manvara where many people of similar faiths take them in with open arms. Even enemies of the Llami such as the ogre and orc war bands have found the Xi Dynasty’s encroachment to be worrisome leading to a temporary truce between the Llami and many of their usual enemies.
Main Real-Life Cultural Influences: Tibetan & Nepali

Khemai: The Khemai are the southernmost people of the far east but due to Xian expansionism, do not interact with the Hanxi peoples as much as they do the Manvarans and the Llami. As a peninsula, they have an extensive naval presence using the Gulf of Hindeva to trade with the Manvarans and the Khlang Sea to trade with the Felidaens (catfolk) which inhabit the other side of the Dynasties Mountain Range.
Much of Khemai being rainforests, the Khemai often build around the massive trees or use nature magic to move roots to accommodate the structures they build creating beautiful buildings which many foreigners describe as being “elvish, Hindevan, and yet something else entirely.”
Protected by the Dynasties Mountain Range, they do not fear the conquest of their kingdom from the Xian Dynasty as much as the Golbi and the Llami, but they have begun to grow nervous as the Xian attempt to annex the mountain regions.
Main Real-Life Cultural Influences: Cambodian & Southeast Asian
