Don't be discouraged by the "she's very pretty" comment. Krishna has some lovely female qualities to the way he is drawn often, so I think you have done him justice. I'm a hindu and an artist so I obviously think this is just awesome!

That's true. I was trying to depict Him actually as an androgyny so that either way works although I'm not sure that this was the best attempt. But thank you very much. I too am a hindu so it's always difficult for me to portray everything I want to in a piece of the gods.

I think everyone feels that way. For christians, I'm sure it feels unsatisfying to draw Christ because he probably never comes out the way they want. We all love the God we believe in and I think it drives us crazy to know we can never be accurate when drawing them. I still really like your picture though!
