Description I'm making a comic that is in the style of the 1982 Hulk cartoon and a more innocent era of comics in general. Note the dialogue where the characters state the immediately obvious! Later on, I shall attempt some kind of rational explaination for why Banner's clothes reappear after he changes back from the Hulk. This is a fan- produced and entirely not for profit comic. All characters are the copyright of Marvel Comics.

The Betty Ross from 1982 cartoon is the hottest. Only Teela from He-Man is hotter then her.

The homage, choice of moment for each panel and the sheer effort to encapsulate the comics format style of the period is uncanny! The time gap between panels, and the minimal narrative/written text gap are spot on! Subjectively, Red Alert is a little like the efforts of the shows "Heat Vision and Jack" or "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" : a remembering of the 80s.

But back to the work at hand,
Its like an episode of the cartoon show translated to comic form...
I'm looking forward to seeing how this issue pans out!

So much so that I'm speculating about where the story might go;
Maybe one (or all) of The Unstoppables will make a cameo appearance?
Perhaps a gen13 character/s may make an appearance, signaling that this issue is a DC/Marvel "What if?" crossover?
Maybe Joe will be a scene stealer in the background?

Maybe even a Ferrigno homage or two...

Remember, this is a universe where they sell purple pants wholesale. Bruce regrowing clothes is simple comparatively.

If I remember correctly, that UFO is similar to the alien spacecraft that came for the gamma formula in the origin episode of the 1982 Incredible Hulk cartoon!!!

Here's my alternate opening:

Greeting true believers, Stan Lee here. What's more worst then facing your worst enemy? What if the enemy happened to be the one you loved! How can that be, your asking? Well seat down and see for yourselves, as another Incredible Hulk adventure begins right now.

That. Is. BRILLIANT! Can I use that exact line somewhere in the comic?

You, sir, are making my day. Love the '82 Hulk cartooon, She-Hulk(s) or not! Complete with over the top Stan Lee narration-- I can hear his voice as I read--and hear the Johnny Douglas score! Good work, keep it coming, and watch out for the toothpaste guys, Betty and Bruce!
