Always wanted to read Stephen King's The Shining, and I finally got to it. It inspired me to create this. Remember this is based off the book not the movie.ΒEnjoy

Jack is very much not the antagonist in the book, but this poster makes him look like one. As a work of art, I actually think it looks great (especially the way his giant face is contrasted with Wendy and Danny alone at the bottom) just not necessarily a fair representation.

I caught most references -- the topiary lions, room 217 -- but what's the wasp at the end of the logo about?

When they first get to the hotel, Jack kills a wasp nest and gives it to Danny who keeps it in his room, only to have wasps pour out of it and sting him.Β
