Jack is very much not the antagonist in the book, but this poster makes him look like one. As a work of art, I actually think it looks great (especially the way his giant face is contrasted with Wendy and Danny alone at the bottom) just not necessarily a fair representation.

When they first get to the hotel, Jack kills a wasp nest and gives it to Danny who keeps it in his room, only to have wasps pour out of it and sting him.Β
