it's probably just me, but I think she looks as if she just got to some deep understanding of a sad situation.. as if something really sad happened to her, and she was desperate, and then suddenly in all the sadness it came to her how it all makes sense, like for a second she feels as if she can understand her own life and the whole world.. and so she smiles just a bit about suddenly understanding it, while it's still incredible sad
