-Bio: Marlin is a diesel that works at the local workshops on the Northwestern Railway known as the Steam Works, located in Crovans Gate. His jobs may include shunting any trucks at the Steam Works, but also at the Diesel Yards too, hauling the Breakdown Train, as well as towing any engines after they've broken down or crashed, making deliveries to the works or from, and also working on the rail maintenance alongside Harvey or Diesel. Whatever job he does, he enjoys it, as he takes great pride in repairing and providing maintenance to the engines, rolling stock, non-rail vehicles, rails, buildings, etc., and all sorts of repairs on the railway, as he enjoys keeping busy with tinkering. As his job when looking after any of the other engines when visiting the Steam Works, he's always there for them in need of any moral support or comfort, as he's wise, kind, charismatic, and a down-to-earth diesel that offers positive advice, and can be strict only if an engine or even person is sneaking about or getting into mischief or boasting about themselves. He is best friends with fellow Steam Works engine, Victor, as both are experts when supervising repairs, and is also great friends with Harvey too, as both help clear up after any accidents, or working on the maintenance trains. You can always count on a diesel like Marlin, as he and Victor are the Mr. Fix-Its on Sodor, and can never comes across any problems they couldn't solve.
