Well this is my first attempt at colouring on Photoshop, big thanks to my friend Alex for getting me started on how to make the lineart layer and Emma for tips on skin colour since Mika looked rather yellow to start with. It's not perfect but it'll do for now - practice possibly makes perfect.----------

I'm probably being stupid for asking this, but what series is this an OC for? Is it Death Note, because one of the character's names is Mikami. But the little tattoo-thing below his eye kind of makes me think Kingdom Hearts....

No problem. He is one of my original characters, he isn't an OC for any series that have been published. He is used in my own personal story; the name Mikamii is a translation of my English name and the XIII tattoo is a symbol of what number he is in this killing game, similar to Seikirei, where special people are given numbered tattoos and must fight to be the last man standing in a ruined city.

I really like this, I like the way your draw, and for your first time colouring its not to bad
The next thing you should probably look at is working out (using digital colour) how to create the variations between different surfaces materials skins and hair!
