Alistair is a tall, but heavy set man. His hair, currently greying, is usually found slicked back a few stray strands falling over his forehead. When out and about he's seen wearing darker shades of clothing, often with multiple layers depending on where he is in the region.

At first glance Alistair comes across as a very serious and intimidating person who isn't afraid to scold people when he feels that it's deserved. It's extremely rare to see him back down from anything; be it arguments, fights or his views on different things. (The only people that have been known to get him to back down are his family and very close friends. ) The elder male isn't one to sugar coat anything, prefering to tell things as they are even if it's something that could very well get him into trouble.
Though not very outwardly show-offy about it, Alistair is a proud person, especially when it comes to his age, strength and family; the latter being the point of most of his pride. The more that you get to know the male, the more loyal to you he becomes though his loyalty is not easily gained by strangers.
Definitely not one for showing it, the Hydreigon is a man that cares a great deal for the people he's close to and the people he has a duty to protect, never refusing to give a hand to people that need it.

History:
Alistair is a Unovan native, born to quite a large family in Victory Road caves. He remained there for a good couple decades, fights with both other dragons in his family and encounters with trainers pushing him to grow stronger and eventually evolve into a Zweilous. His hopes were to grow strong enough to take on one of the eldest dragons in his family and become the newest leader of them.
Much to his displeasure (at the time) he caught the attention of a passing trainer, who wasted no time in fighting the dragon so that they could capture them. Alistair put up a decent enough fight against the trainer but he was eventually taken down by her Altaria, Athena. The male was a handful to train at first, angry that his chance at becoming leader of his family had been taken away from him, but eventually he started to settle, content that even with this strange new group he could still grow stronger.
The trainer and her team travelled the different regions over time, it was during this time that Alistair and Athena grew closer, eventually falling for one another. The arrival of their first family member prompted their trainer into giving them the choice to split from the team and settle down in Kalos.
The two did just that, eventually adding two more to their little family. It was only in the last year that the rest of the family gained dittechs, thanks to their second oldest child Allie, who helped them settle into life as humans. Through his son, Alistair became aware of Ursa, the attacks that had left them stricken and their need for another co leader. He began talks with Éclair, proving that he'd be a great help to the village and to her and it wasn't long before they became partners.

Relationships:

Athena :: Alistair's wife. Their relationship was rocky at first, the Hydreigon sour about her winning the fight that lead to his capture. Through the years though that gave way to admiration and eventually love. She's one of the only people that can make him effortlessly happy, even when she's teasing him about his loss all those years ago.

Aoide, Allie and Arran :: Alistair's three children. Like his wife they're his everything, he'd fight tooth and nail to keep them safe. He cares for them all dearly.

It'd been a long day of clearing out the shop, swapping out the displays and flowers. With summer pretty much over, everything needed to be replaced with the fall selection. Eris stretched her arms above her head as she walked down the stairs from the apartment and to the shop. She'd settled both her little brother and Mel down for naps and was finally aware of that faint burn in her muscles from carrying things all day.
A small smile came to her lips in response to the one Fern gave her. She had just been about to lean against the countertop when she caught sight of a familiar and very much unwanted face. Great.
