When she asked me to draw this character, and I read up on her... Omg. I fell in love-- she is so adorable and so sweet, she's my favorite of *Mytties OCs. I wanted to make her look just as darling as she is!

Ahh, not really. I use all the normal tools, just adjust them accordingly to whatever I want to do. I mean I have a lot of special brushes on PS, but not on SAI, and that's where 99% of this was made.

I don't use really any specific settings for brushes as I work, just... adjust them as I work to suit my needs. But if you would like you're more than welcome to join one of my LS's where I broadcast my screen for others to watch as I draw.

awesome! and one last question, what tool(s) did you use in specific to do Himawari's clothes? im working on a peice right now and i'm having trouble getting the right texture for the clothes. thanks!

I do most my shading using the airbrush tool. Set it on the second nib to the left, and put it about 50% hardness and play with opacity to see what works best for the effect you want.
