Another Children of Aurnia piece. This time, it's Kaldra.
Erm... This is quite a bit of a symbolic piece. For example, take the eyes in the corner: the left is Tem's, the right is Dask's (Kaldra's mother). Then, they're both saying that weird text near the bottom--a made up quotation from the roleplay (yeah, they don't actually say that, as far as I can remember). That's why the text is half blue and half yellow. Yup. It's weird.
As you can see, there's also some lines from My Immortal, by Evanescence, thrown in. That's her theme song--and I might add that it really fits the tragic character.
The brushes I used for the electricity can be found in my favorites, in the brush section. I love them that much. Also, I used some scale brushes that I also have in my favorites, for an extra bit of texture (though the large scales were hand-painted).
If your monitor is dark, you might not be able to see her. Sorry.

Wow, that looks really cool! Wolfpaw obviously has a better idea of Kaldra's personality than I do, but I agree that you captured her quite well. I can easily hear Tem or Dask saying that quote, so it's a good choice. And of course, the lightning is a very nice touch. Great job overall!

Ohhh...I love it. Wonderfully done. I wouldn't call the symbolism weird at all! I think it represents her very well; the few (or rather, two) people whom she's ever truly trusted and loved are central to her life and character. And the quotes are most certainly fitting as well. I agree with Wolfpaw once more and say that you've included some excellent emotion yet again.
I don't recall Tem saying exactly that, either, although he did say the first part! 
I love the lightning, too! Like how you can see it both in her spikes and arcing around her... You found some great brushes, and you used them very well, too.
Nicely done again! It looks just like her and captures her emotions and personality at the same time, at least as well as your other pieces!

You think so? I always thought my thought process (particularly with symbolism) was kind of weird, but maybe that's not the case after all.
Even if he didn't say the first part, it's still apparent, even without words. If I were one of those squeaky people, I'd constantly be saying: "Awwwww!"

Hehe, yeah, Tem sure gets into a lot of situations that warrant an "Awwwww!" I just adore that sweet little guy. Oh, and you're welcome.
I just looked at those lyrics again and thought, yes, this seems like an RP where Tem is going to be fighting off a lot of fears, or fearful things, rather. It'll be interesting to see how I handle real combat, since I really haven't gotten into any within the few roleplays I've been in, now that I think about it.

So, so happy right now. You have no idea how pleased seeing this representation of Kaldra has made me. I love seeing a character I brought to life sitting right there in front of me.
You really represented her and her character very well. The picture shows her sorrow and what she's had to go through by showing Dask's eye, a quote from her theme, and something that I'm sure her mother (and Tem) would have definitely have said to her at some point. It's beautifully made, I love the lightning effects!

I'm glad I was able to show a bit of what she's been through in this picture. I thought that her past was so sorrowful. 
I'm relieved that I applied the brushes correctly--it's really my first time using someone else's brushes as one of the most important and identifying parts of the picture (the lightning, in this case).

Yeah, looking back I realized I was really cruel to her in regards to her backstory. I mean, never knowing you own father and then seeing your mother killed for seemingly no reason right in front of you... at least fate seems to be being fairer to her now.
The brushes look great, they really do look like lightning!
