I love how you made the scarf over his mouth look like whips of liquid. You made his lovely hair curve and curl just right. The tip of the nose, nostrils, jawline, tendons in the neck, and collarbone are all very well defined.
The folds in the clothing look very natural. I love the patch on the sweater. The wings in the back are a nice touch. The shadows and highlights. Wow. Also, the way you color your drawings, it makes the subject glisten. Such a beautiful site. Very very good work.

Well, no one ever said it was simple. I mean, I would never expect such masterpieces to be simple. You would just have to take the tutorials bit by bit. Separate the steps. I know it would be oh so tedious. but it would be totally awesome if you managed to pull it off in the end.

Hehe, yeah, I saw that one. It IS quite EPIC!
Let's see,what I learned from it was this: Start with very clean line art, choose a light source, put highlight and shadow where appropriate, somehow create intricate, detailed patterns for the clothing, add some rainbowy coloring effects to make him glisten, add colorful lasers of light, and, finally, add a kick-ass background to go with it.
Not all that effective as a tutorial honestly. But still great, great work.
The important techniques though were to begin with line-art, and position a light source, but as for how you do the rest, I have no flippin' idurr.
