This could have worked in black and white as well. Great character with revealing illumination. Care-free expression and what might be in the U.S. something frowned upon by the government in ads and the populace in at least a strong minority-cigarette in meaningful fingers for the act of enjoyment.

I started with B&W and it works great. But then I went back to color and I felt it added another layer of texture, you know.
